    TYT - AYT - YDT

TYT: This exam, which means the Basic Proficiency Exam prepared by ÖSYM, mostly includes reading comprehension questions. The content of the exam consists of Turkish, Mathematics, History, Physics, Geography, Physics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Geometry, Philosophy and (if the student is not exempt) Religious Culture courses. (You can find the current exam topics by following the statements of the Ministry of National Education).

Students who want to choose two-year university (associate degree) departments only need to take this exam. Students who want to study for a four-year undergraduate degree must take the AYT and/or YDT exam, which are the second and third sessions. The score obtained from the TYT exam will have a 40% effect on the AYT and YDT exams.

Students have the right to choose the city and neighborhood where they will take the exam. The exam is usually held at the end of June with the closing of secondary education institutions, but it may vary. The duration of the exam, which consists of 120 questions in total, is 135 minutes.
